Indigenous Tribes in the Amazon Forest

The Amazon in Brazil alone is also home to more than 20 million people. This
figure includes about 220,000 people from 180 different indigenous tribes.
These people rely on this ancient forest as a way of life. It provides almost
everything from food and shelter to tools and medicines.
All of this is currently in danger due to deforestation, which is precipitated by a
growing demand for cheap supply of fabrics and tropical wood both inside and
outside the country, as well as by agricultural invasions for the growth of
commodities such as soybeans, which are mainly used to feed animals in Europe.
60-80 percent of deforestation activities in Brazil are illegal, and more than one
million hectares are already used to grow soya.
The Amazon is in danger and so is the daily life of the people living there.
I think we should not make use of many trees and choose a more efficient way
for nature to create clothes, paper and so on.
There is no way to do it? I think there is.
If we have to use trees i think we can find a couple of forests that don't affect
human life. Then we can take from each one of them a few trees… but… that
isn't so helpful…
Agriculture can settle in so many other places. Places that do not take advantage
of their good climate.
So i think that instead of taking part of the life in Brazil away we can think of a
better solution.
